A short background story
My Journey as a Personal Running Coach
I’ve always had a love for fitness and outdoor activities, and it was that love that led me to take up running in my younger years. Initially, my motivation was to stay in shape for mountaineering and mountain climbing, but as life took its course, my fitness and health took a back seat.
I got married and had a son with autism, and over the next 10 years, I found myself gaining weight and becoming pre-diabetic. It was then that I realized I needed to make a change and return to running. But my progress was hindered by a series of injuries, including shin splints, heel spur, knee problems, and plantar fasciitis.
Determined to find a solution, I started studying running physiology and working with a personal coach and several physiotherapists. This changed the way I thought about running and training in general and allowed me to achieve my goals, becoming a healthier and stronger runner.
In 2020, I decided to take my passion for running and newfound knowledge to the next level by becoming a personal running coach. Using the same methods that had worked for me, I helped clients achieve their running goals and was amazed by the results.
One of my clients, who had never run before, finished a marathon in just 8 months and loved the entire process without a single injury. Another client, who was told he would never be able to run again due to knee problems, trained with me for 2 years, ran several marathons, and we even ran the Ultra Australia 100KM race together in 2022.
My journey as a personal running coach has been rewarding and fulfilling, and I am proud of what I have accomplished and grateful for the experiences and relationships that have come my way. I am passionate about helping others achieve their running goals, becoming healthier, stronger, and happier, and I look forward to continuing this journey for many years to come.
